As the days shift toward darkness and magical creatures appear on All Hallows’ Eve, these small porcelain wall pieces add a touch of magic to your home.
The imagery draws from mythology and fairytales, inhabiting the boundary between reality and fantasy as we step into autumn.
Each piece is slip-cast, finished with one of my original glazes, and produced in a limited edition. I apply the illustrations using a ceramic transfer process: each image is printed onto a thin film, transferred to the glazed porcelain, and permanently fired so that it melts into the glaze.
A removable brass plate hanger is included, ready to hang on its own or as part of a larger grouping.
Dimensions:
5.5" h, 3.5" w
